Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services in the Lynwood Unified School District
Dr. Dinkins has 28 years of experience in education working for Los Angeles Unified and Chino Valley Unified as a teacher, instructional coach, secondary literacy expert, program administrator, principal, director of special education, and director of program improvement. Beyond her experiences, Dr. Dinkins has dedicated her professional career to serving students and families and advocating on their behalf.
Dr. Dinkins earned her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and taught ELD and English at the high school before becoming an instructional coach and administrator. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Education in Urban Leadership from the University of Southern California.
Dr. Dinkins is a true collaborator who will continue working to develop and implement a collective vision of cultivating innovative thinkers in the Lynwood community and making sure that all students are college and career ready. She currently serves as the Deputy Superintendent of Educational Services in the Lynwood Unified School District.
