Dr. Jill Gildea is the Superintendent of Park City School District, Park City, Utah. Having been a classroom teacher, department leader, building principal, curriculum leader, assistant superintendent and now superintendent for the past 16 years across 3 states and 4 school districts, she continues to have a future focused and student centered approach. A member of AASA, Learning Forward, CoSN, ASCD and NSPRA, Gildea brings together policy and advocacy for public education. In 2015, Gildea was recognized as a Real. Strong. Woman of Distinction and in 2014 was a finalist for Superintendent of the Year by NASS. She is a frequent presenter in the areas of communications, building community connections and engagement, and visioning for the future. Recent presentations on mindfulness and education innovations have been well received by state and national groups.
