Dr Bill Bradford

Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership

Bill Bradford is a seasoned education leader with more than two decades of experience shaping learning at every level—elementary, middle, and high school. Named Assistant Superintendent of School Leadership in 2024, he has become a driving force for strategic alignment, innovation, and future-ready leadership development.

A bilingual educator who began his career as a Spanish teacher at Lafayette High School, Bill quickly moved into system-level work as a K–12 Instructional Support Specialist, supporting Title I feeder patterns with a particular focus on middle schools. His leadership journey has since spanned principalships, superintendency roles, and districtwide oversight of teaching and learning.

From leading Sixth District Elementary in Covington to advancing curriculum and instruction in Fort Thomas, Bill has consistently centered his work on coherence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Since returning to his home district in 2022, he has overseen transformational initiatives including implementation of a five-year strategic plan, teacher-voice integration into systemwide decision-making, and leadership of new school development projects.

Nationally recognized as a thought leader, Bill is a frequent presenter at regional, state, and national conferences where he shares his expertise in systems design, instructional leadership, and organizational change. He also contributes to the next generation of leaders as an adjunct instructor at Northern Kentucky University’s principal preparation program.

Bill earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Transylvania University, where he was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in diving. He holds master’s degrees in Education and in Instructional Leadership, as well as a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership.

At every stage of his career, Bill has modeled what it means to lead with perseverance, build coherence across complex systems, and keep students at the center of the work.
